|
Roll Call of Donors will begin in the Messenger-Inquirer on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, and continue until Christmas. Each contributor, whatever the size of the gift, will be listed. The Roll Call will also be available on this site.

| Goodfellows Kick-Off |
|
The official kick-off for Roll Call and the Goodfellows Club Holiday Giving Season will be 3:00 p.m., December 3 , in front of the Messenger-Inquirer building at 14th and Frederica. Show your support by attending the kick-off.

| Messiah - Dec. 7th |
|
The annual performance of Handel’s “Messiah” by the Owensboro Choral Society, at which a collection is taken up for the Goodfellows Club, is scheduled for 3:00 p.m., December 7 , at First Christian Church.

| SOUP DAYS |
|
December 4 , 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Settle Memorial Methodist Church Christian Life Center, hosted by PRIDE and Western Kentucky Botanical Gardens. Homemade soups and desserts will be served.
|

December 11, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Third Baptist Church Fireside Room, hosted by the Goodfellows Club Board of Directions. Many local restaurants donate their specialty soups. We will also be serving cornbread and homemade desserts.

| Musical - "I'll Be Home for Christmas " - Owensboro Christian Church |
|
The Goodfellows Club will be receiving all the ticket proceeds from “I'll Be Home for Christmas.” The musical will be held at Owensboro Christian Church on December 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, and 14 at 7:00 p.m. each performance. Tickets are $2.00 and are available at the church office (270) 683-2706.

| Christmas Party |
The 93rd Christmas party is set for Saturday, December 20, at the Owensboro Sportscenter. The party will start at 9:30 a.m. Activities will include inflatable bouncers, face painting, balloon creations, music by Doc Harris, and performance by the Owensboro High School Rose Curtain Players. All will anticipate the arrival of Santa Claus. Each child will select a gift and a book and will receive candy, oranges, and apples. They will also be treated to Papa John Pizza and Coke.
